TILBURYRiverside Project recently celebrated more than 30 years of working in Tilbury and Thurrock.

Project manager Annie O'Brien and Trustee Les Morgan presented certificates to members of the community to thank them for supporting the project over the years.

Individuals and organisations including Grays Recreational Trust, EMR, Asda Community Foundation, the Children's Centre, Tilbury Forum and Tilbury Hub attended.

Mrs O'Brien said:" It was a lovely event and everyone was very pleased to get their certificate.

"Without all the wonderful help from the community big or small, our events would not be able to take place.

"I like to say a personal thank you to the Tilbury Riverside Project volunteers and the Port of Tilbury who are just amazing!"
