CHILDREN and teachers at Quince Tree Day Nursery in South Ockendon have been working together to create different pieces of autumn artwork using a variety of materials to learn more about the nature around them.

A message from the nursery said: "Learning about nature can be so much fun! It's important for children to have opportunities to continue their learning outdoors in the nursery garden, as well as exploring nature indoors.

"Through creative activities, children can develop their imagination, learn about the changing seasons and discover more about the natural world around them.

"It's wonderful to see how the children use their imagination to explore and appreciate the natural world, both indoors and outdoors."
