Quiz night proved a hit

THURROCK branch of the Re-engage charity recently hosted a quiz night, which proved a resounding success and raised £732.

Regional co-ordinator Loraine Coleman said: "Special thanks go to our volunteer Paula for organising the event and Sue for compiling the questions.

"Thanks also to South Ockendon Village Social Club for allowing us use of their hall and to our volunteer Richard for supplying the sound system. 

"Thank you to everyone who supported this event. We are all very grateful."

The results of the Quiz:

1st Place: 82 points Suffolk Drivers winning a bottle of Prosecco each.

Last place: 62 points The No Hopers winning a wooden spoon each.
