TWO of the members groups organised by the Re-engage charity marked yesterday's Remembrance Sunday (14 November) with an afternoon gettogether at Headon Hall.

Tea party groups Thurrock 4 and Thurrock 7 met up and it just happened to be the 11th tea party we have held since starting up in September after Covid restrictions and we celebrated Remembrance Day.

Local charity co-ordinator Loraine Coleman said: "Kelly Jones from Wonderland Teas provided the food and all the beautiful table settings. A huge thank you to Thurrock Borough Council and their Sheltered Housing Manager for letting Re-engage use this wonderful hall. Without this we would not have been able to start our tea parties up in the safety that this hall offers us."

Clarissa, group co-ordinator for Thurrock 4 said the tea party this afternoon was just joyous. Thank you to wonderland tea for the beautiful food and making the Remembrance Sunday table looks so special.

"Rosaline Benson thank you to you and your volunteers for such a lovely afternoon. Maggie was there with her crafts which all our guest really enjoyed, thank you for all your hard work. How lucky are we to be involved in Re-engage."
