RECRUITMENT has begun for staff to work at Tilbury's news Lidl store which is nearing construction completion and is due to open in September.

The development, on St Chads Road. is set to create around 40 jobs with a variety of part time and full time positions, with 80 per cent expected to be filled by people in the area.

The company is searching for local candidates, who are encouraged to apply via the Lidl careers website by Wednesday, 20 May

Lidl GB has today announced that applications are now open for its upcoming store off St Chad's Road in Tilbury, which is due to open its doors to the local community this Autumn.
