AFTER two years of muted Easter celebrations becasue of Covid-19, residents at a Thurrock sheltered housing complex have marked this year's holiday in style.

The residents of Freeman Court in Corringham have enjoyed arts & crafts, cake-making, hot cross buns with a natter, an Easter egg hunt for residents' grandchildren, a visit from the Easter Bunny and a barbecue over the extended weekend.

Some of the residents helped create a display outside for all to see.

QA resident told Nub News: "We have all had a difficult few years with Covid. It has been nice to get together to celebrate Easter!."
