Residents told 'your voice matters' in new survey to make borough 'a better place'

By Nub News Reporter 10th Jul 2025

THURROCk Council has again turned to residents to find out how to make the borough'a better place'.

In the latest of a number of community surveys that have taken place over recent years including ones related to the local plan, the Thurrock Design Plan consultation, the Your Place, Your Voice campaign and others, including a residents research analysis on delivery of cultural services across the winder borough, Thurrock has now opened up a survey asking residents to help shape the future of education, skills, and employability in Thurrock.

The council says: "We want to make our borough a better place to work and train.

"You can help us by sharing some of the challenges you may have had when looking for jobs and employment in Thurrock and beyond."

"By sharing your experiences and suggestions, you'll help us identify key areas for development and ensure our services effectively meet the needs of residents.

"This is your opportunity to influence positive change in Thurrock and contribute to making Thurrock a better place for everyone.

"Your voice matters."
