RESIDENTS in Purfleet-on-Thames are being urged by Thurrock Council to have their say on plans for the future of the town.

The council is one of the partners in Purfleet Regeneration Limited (PCRL) which was created to deliver a £1 billion regeneration project to transform the area.

While outline plans for the project have been aired, much of the detail remains to be completed - though work has started on a new homes project on the Cromwell House car park off London Road.

Now PCRL says it would like to hear from residents who live and work in Thurrock and have created a short and simple survey to understand what the priorities and aspirations for Purfleet-on-Thames are from borough residents who are being invited to visit an online survey via this link. to have their say.

PCRL says its plans will create a world-class creative hub on the River Thames surrounded by a new town centre with shops and restaurants, up to 2,850 new homes and an integrated medical centre.
