MAYOR of Thurrock Cllr Terry Piccolo was on hand to join in celebrations as a new restaurant opening in Grays.

As reported on Thurrock Nub News, Feast on the High Street in Grays, has been launched by Dacian Keran and his family.

His aim is to raise the bar for the High Street and play a role in the town's regeneration.

A statement to mark the opening said: "On Saturday Feast restaurant celebrated its grand opening with panache. We are so humbled to have amazing guests and local support from our friends and residents of Thurrock.

"To make it an official opening, we had the mayor of Thurrock honouring us by cutting the ceremonial ribbon and giving us an inspirational speech.

"Our fantastic head chef and his incredible team produced dishes out of this world and our staff worked tirelessly to give our guests a feast to remember.

Last but not least we are delighted to support the regeneration of our town centre."
