Road closed briefly after crash in Stanford-le-Hope

A ROAD in Stanford-le-Hope was closed briefly this afternoon, around 3pm, while emergency services dealt with the aftermath of a crash.

Though fire, ambulance and police were called to the scene of the two vehicle crash close to the Hassengate Medical Centre on Southend Road, no one was seriously hurt and the matter was dealt with.

No driving offences have been reported or arrests made and police acted quickly to ensure the road was reopened as quickly and safely as possible.
