7.35am. READERS have contacted Thurrock Nub News to warn of growing congestion on the London-bound A13 following an accident.

Traffic is queuing back from a point beyond the slip road at the Orsett Cock roundabout.

There was also a crash at the Five Bells roundabout.

A police statement said: "We were called to reports of a collision involving a vehicle and motorbike on the A13 near the Five Bells roundabout at around 7.05am today (Wednesday 12 May).

"We then received a reports of a separate, multi-vehicle collision on the A13 near Orsett at around 7.25am.

"Both incidents are ongoing.

"If you saw either incident or have dash cam footage please call us on 101 quoting incident 164 or incident 172 of 12 May."
