Roadworks after gas leak is discovered will take up to five days

DELAYS are expected to traffic on London Road in Grays close to the junction with Devonshire Road after a gas leak was discovered.

Cadent gas have confirmed the leak in the carriageway at Stifford Clays and workers will begin repairs today (Thursday, 12 August).

Multiway signals will be in place from 9.30am at the location to repair the leak, with works likely to take place through to Tuesday, 17 August.
