Sacrifice of borough heroes will be highlighted in new exhibition at the Thameside

AN exhibition will be staged in the gallery at Thurrock's Thameside Complex next month. highlighting the role and impact of borough residents who gave their lives in conflict.

The 'Armistice Exhibition' opens in the gallery on Saturday, 4 November and closes on Friday, 17 November at 11am.

It will be staged on the ground floor of the Thameside Complex on Orsett Road in Grays and entry is free.

 A spokesperson said: "This exhibition looks at Thurrock people who served in both world wars and features some of the local men who sadly lost their life; it also covers Thurrock war memorials

"Visit the exhibition to read about the local people and the terrible effect of war; please also make friends/colleagues aware and continue to support Thurrock Museum."
