MEMBERS of the Rotary Club of Mar Dyke Valley have presented the money raised during their Christmas sleigh collections to a range of local charities.

The club spent many evenings in december touring the area with their sleigh, often accompanies by members of the charities that they support.

At a presentation evening at Langdon Hills Golf Club cheques were presented to a number of good causes, including Belhus Cricket Club, Clowns in the Sky, Ockenden Scouts, Re-engage, St Luke's Hospice and Yamaguchi Goju Kai Karate. Several charities were not able to attend the evening, but will be receiving their cheques very soon.
