Sentencing day for murder trial trio

THE sentencing of Muhammad Khan, Brandon Lutchmunsing and Shannon Weston in connection with the murder of Michael Ugwa at the Lakeside Shopping Centre in April 2022 will take place at Basildon Crown Court today.

A full update with comments from senior investigating officer Detective Chief Inspector Julie Gowen and a statement read by Michael Ugwa's mum will follow after the hearing.
