Man injured in crash that closed rural link road

A VEHICLE has overturned and left the road on Butts Lane on the edge of Stanford-le-Hope.
The road was closed while emergency services attended the incident.
A police statement said: "We were called to reports of a single vehicle collision in Butts Lane, Stanford-le-Hope at around 6.30pm on Saturday 3 April.
"It was reported the vehicle had come to rest on its side.
"A man was taken to hospital for treatment on a serious arm injury.
