A HEALTH and well-being event is being hosted in Stanford-le-Hope today (Saturday, 18 July).

It is taking place at Hassengate Medical Centre where representatives of many local organisations are offering held and advice.

It will run until 4pm.

Thurrock Nub News visited the event shortly after gates opened.

A spokesperson for the medical centre said: "This is a great opportunity for residents of Stanford-le-Hope, Corringham and the surrounding areas to discover the wide range of local services, support groups and wellbeing resources available within our community."
