AS the conclusion of her civic year draws near, Thurrock mayor Sue Little has been busy distributing the charitibale funds accrued through events and donations over the past 12 months.

One of her stops was at Grays Town Park cafe, where she presented Grace Nambafu with a cheque towards equipment for her sewing group, Let's Sew Together.

If you are interested in sewing or learning to sew, the group meet in the cafe every Tuesday and Thursday from 3pm to 4:30pm.
