DESPITE being arrested for breaching bail conditions associated with a pending trial, at which he is accused of sexual offences against a child, a Thurrock man has again been released into the community.

Mark Yeldham, 53, of Blythe Road, Stanford-le-Hope, was arrested by police officers on Monday (10 June) after breaching his court bail conditions ahead of a trial due in February next year.

The music teacher is charged with four counts of assaulting a girl under 13 by touching and two counts of voyeurism.

Among conditions he was set are not to be left alone in a room with a child under 18 unless supervised by a person over the age of 18-years old, and the person supervising must be the parent or guardian of the child.

Yeldham appeared at Southend-on-Sea Magistrates' Court on Tuesday (11 June) and was released on conditional court bail.

He is due to appear at Basildon Crown Court on 10 February 2025.
