POPULAR Thurrock headteacher John Bryant has been among the awards again.

The head of Arthur Bugler School in Stanford-le-Hope – dubbed the happiest school in the country under Mr Bryant's ebullient and fun-packed leadership – has received a silver award in the annual Pearson National Teaching awards.

Mr Bryant said he was delighted with the award and added: "It's an absolute honour to be a Silver Winner. Headteachers have been a true inspiration during the most challenging of times and I count myself extremely to have the best job in the world!"
