Smoke without fire prompted evacuation of Asda at Tilbury

FIREFIGHTERS were called to check out an alert at Asda in Tilbury this afternoon (Tuesday, 2 July).

An alarm was raised just after lunchtime.

Essex Fire and Rescue said: "It was just smoke in the roof void of the cafe, no fire."
