MUSIC fans in Stanford-le-Hope will get the chance to get up close and personal with one of soul music's iconic voices next month.

Hailing from New Jersey, USA, Eban Brown was lead singer of the world renowned Stylistics for 18 years.

He has had and continues to enjoy a glittering career in the music business, being lead singer for The Moments; The Manhattans and the Delfonics before joining the Stylistics.

Eban will be performing a small, intimate show at The Crooked Billet in Stanford-le-Hope in Essex on Friday 13 March when the performance will be packed with hit after hit from The Stylistics such as: "You Make Me Feel Brand New"; "Can't Give You Anything"; "Stone In Love With You"; "You Are Everything"; "Sixteen Bars" and "Betcha By Golly Wow", along with some fresh originals.

He is being supported by a good friend from Liverpool, Andy Kayne – A-Kay who will be opening the show with his Soul and Motown show.

In 1993, Eban Brown was the first lead vocalist of The Delfonics to ever be inducted in to the 98.7 Kiss FM Hall of Fame, the NAACP Hall of Fame and personally received the NAACP award for his accomplishments.

In January 2018, Eban announced his departure from The Stylistics as the Lead Vocalist after 18 years to focus on his career as a solo artist.

In March 2018, Eban performed as part of the "40 Years of Disco" Tour alongside: Tavares; Sister Sledge; George McCrae; Odyssey; Rose Royce and Boney M. The tour took in the following arenas: London SSE Wembley Arena; Leeds First Direct Arena; Liverpool Echo Arena and Birmingham Genting Arena. In August 2019, Eban headlined a sold out 7,000 seat show at the GrandWest Grand Arena in Cape Town, South Africa as a solo artist alongside Peaches and Herb.
