IT'S full steam ahead at the Orsett Showground and orgabnisers and vil=unteers are preparing the site for Saturday'a 117th annual Orsett Show.

Among all the usual attractions the Show promises a fun-filled day for the whole family - with youngsters up to 16 entering for free.

While adults can explore the diverse competitions, admire classic cars, and there's a treasure trove of activities keeping the little ones entertained.

Get ready for giggles and excitement with thrilling live wrestling shows. unleash their creativity with face painting that transforms them into their favorite characters. For a more traditional touch, enjoy the gentle charm of donkey rides.

And of course, no family outing is complete without a trip to the funfair, packed with thrilling rides and classic games.

The show promises to be a vibrant celebration of music and dance, featuring a diverse array of performances to delight attendees of all ages.

Among the exciting acts scheduled to perform are the renowned Swingtime Sweethearts, known for their captivating melodies and nostalgic charm.

Adding to the excitement, Up the Function, a local band from Thurrock, will take the stage, delivering a dynamic selection of pop, rock, and indie classic covers.

And new to the show this year are the team from Essex Breeze.
