Our weekly preview of 'What's On in Thurrock' picks out a selection of events hosted on our events guide.

Comedy comes to the Thameside Theatre in Grays on Friday evening with the latest edition of the comedy club.

This show features the magnificent Seann Walsh, Mike Gunn, Jason Patterson & Windsor

On Saturday, to mark its new extended opening hours, Tilbury Library and Hub on the Civic Square will be holding a day of activities including rhyme time and story time sessions for babies and children and a pop-up book club and job club taster session for adults.

No booking is necessary for any of the sessions, just turn up.

Refreshments will be available on the day.

And looking a little further ahead, the latest outing by Thurrock Courts Players is sure to have laughter levels at a premium at the Thameside.

Starting on Thursday next week Courts are back with "ALLO ALLO 2" (The Camembert Capers).
