A BOROUGH-based charity will not only boost great causes with a forthcoming ball, it will celebrate the 20^th anniversary of a Thurrock-based company.

The sparkling event will take place on Saturday, 7 November at the prestigious Stock Brook Manor Hotel and Country Club in Billericay and has been organised by the Griffin Foundation Charity Trust.

And it also marks ten years of gala events, the first being held in July 2016 at the Old Regent Ballroom in Corringham.

Griffin director and Foundation trustee Ashley Froment said: "It's always a fantastic opportunity to bring together our clients, contractors, colleagues and friends of Griffin for a great night, while most importantly raising funds and support for the Griffin Foundation Trust and the work it does. Secondly, it celebrates 20 years of Griffin this year!

"Expect great company, plenty of entertainment and, hopefully, a night to remember!

"Events such as the Griffin Foundation Trust Charity Ball play a vital role in enabling the Foundation to continue its work. Through the generosity of supporters, sponsors and guests, we are able to raise essential funds that directly support local initiatives and those in need within our community."

From supporting schools and community groups to assisting families and charitable organisations in need, the Trust is dedicated to strengthening and uplifting the communities we serve.

Since its creation, the Griffin Foundation Trust has funded more than 80 local projects and donated in excess of £150,000 to worthwhile causes across the region.
