THE St Clere's class of 2022 have shown huge resilience throughout their secondary education and two years of covid lockdown and frustration was put behind them as the Year 11 group received their GCSE outcomes and were able to celebrate some huge successes.

Some of the highlights at the Stanford-le-Hope school included George Lane, who achieved four grade 9 GCSEs and six grade 8s; Lara Kettle achieved three grade 9s and four grade 8s & 7s; Ellis Goodman achieved six grade 8s and two distinctions and Emilia Pytel achieved two grade 9s, to name a few!

Head Mrs Ashlie Hughes said: "We are proud of every single one of our pupils. They faced the challenges of home learning and have coped well with being the first year group to sit exams, since 2019. Our pupils have planned their next stage with many going off to employment, training and further study. Several St Clere's pupils have been awarded places in high achieving sixth form providers across Essex. We wish them all every success in their bright futures."

The year group will be invited to a special awards ceremony in November where they will celebrate their excellent achievements with their family and school staff.
