AT least one person has been stabbed in an incident on Dock Road, Tilbury, this evening (Friday, 13 August).

All three emergency services attended when the alarm was raised around 5.30pm.

Nub News has seen video shot by a witness of a man in the road who has sustained what looks like a significant wound. He was bleeding heavily and has been taken to hospital.

The fire service left the scene soon after 6.15pm but ambulance teams and a significant police presence remained in place outside the Our Lady Star of the Sea Roman Catholic Church where the incident happened.

Dock Road is blocked while investigations continue.

The incident is just yards from where two people werestabbed earlier this month and in July therewas a major fracas just around the corner.
