Stepping out again for Levi and Great Ormond Street

SPONSORED walkers set out from Tilbury this morning (Saturday, 4 September) for a second trek from the town to Great Ormond Street Hospital.

Martin Smith and stepson Terry Garwood were joined by three young walkers as they repeated last year's trek to raise funds for the children's hospital.

They have been inspired to walk – and plan to make this an annual event – because of the care given by the hospital to Martin's son Levi who was born with severe Hydrocephalus (water on the brain).

This morning the fundraisers set out from Martin's home on Adelaide Avenue at 7.30am to make the 25.6 mile trek to the hospital.

If you would like to support the walker you can donate via this link.
