STAFF at a Thurrock store are set for a day of challenges for a great cause - and two will be having their heads shave.

It will all be happening at Morrisons in Grays on Friday (19 June) in aid of the store's charity partner Clic Sargent.

The store's community champion, Tarnya Bennet explains: "Clic is our charity partner and has been for three years. During the coronavirus pandemic all our instore fundraising has stopped so we decided to have a day of dares to raise some much needed money.

We will be dressing up, having a pie-eating competition and whatever else people come up with!

"We will also be dressing up We chose 60s, 70s & 2005 as our theme to dress up! These are milestone years for Clic Sargent and we're looking forward to celebrating them while we raise much needed funds for them."

Two of the store staff, Lela Fletcher and Karen Ruglys, will be having their heads shaved while Tarnya and colleague Tina Gittoes will be putting their vocal 'talents' to the test by singing a duo.
