GRAYS' Belmont Academy primary school had cause to celebrate after taking the top places in the Rotary Club of Grays Thurrock's recent Young Writers' competition

The South Stifford school did amazingly well with the top three winners all coming from its classes.

Youngsters received their award from Mr Page and Mr Wilkinson from the Rotary club.
