STUDENTS of Gateway Learning Community invited Re-engage Thurrock to their recent charity fundraiser at Tilbury's Gateway Academy, along with other local senior citizens.

The guests were treated to a delicious meal and entertainment.

As part of the fund-raising event guests enjoyed a game of bingo and a raffle with all profits going to the students' chosen charity.

Re-engage local co-ordinator Loraine Coleman said: "A very big thank you to our two lovely volunteers June and Richard for taking our lovely tea party guest Jean (pictured).

"Also thanks to Claire Couves and the students of Gateway Academy for inviting Re-engage Thurrock. "
