A SOUTH Ockendon woman and her friends and colleagues at a borough social club have been 'on the oche' for hours today.

Susan Williams has organised a darts marathon at the South Ockendon Village Social Club on Canterbury Parade for Macmillan Cancer Support.

The aim is to play for 12 hours or rack up 100,000 points. Susan set out on her challenge, helped by friend Michelle Armstrong at noon, with club members set to join her through the day.
