Teen was threatened with weapon by another youth who stole phone

POLICE are investigating and have asked the public for information after a teenager boy threatened another youngster with a weapon and stole his phone.
Police say: "We're investigating a robbery which was reported to us in South Ockendon.
"The incident took place outside Dilkes Park, close to Foyle Drive, at about 9pm on Thursday, 22 May when a teenage boy, aged about 15 or 16, approached a younger teenager and threatened him with a weapon.
"During the altercation, the suspect took the victim's phone and then fled the area.
"Thankfully, the victim wasn't hurt but was understandably shaken by the incident.
"We're appealing for anyone who believes they may have witnessed the incident or saw anyone running away from the area, potentially via Orchard Road or Jack Evans Court.
"We would be grateful for any information people can give us, quoting crime reference 42/70313/25.
