A TEENAGER has been charged with multiple drugs offences after a warrant was executed in Grays.

Officers from Essex Police's Operational support Group and Raptor Serious Violence Unit carried out the warrant in Argent Street on Tuesday, 20 February and arrested a 17-year-old at the address on suspicion of multiple drugs offences, as well as burglary and sending malicious communications.

What appeared to be Class A and and Class B drugs, and several weapons, were found at the address.

Now, the teenager has been charged with one count of being concerned in the supply of a Class A drug and one count of being concerned in the supply of a Class B drug.

They appeared at Southend-on-Sea Magistrates' Court this morning, Wednesday 21 February, and were remanded in custody pending a future court date.

Superintendent Phil Stinger said: "Our detectives will continue to build this case for the Crown Prosecution Service.

"This warrant is just one of many operations going on across Essex every week to disrupt potential criminal activity and the sale of illegal drugs."
