Thanks and farewell to Diane as call goes out for volunteers

By Neil Speight 24th Nov 2019

A POPULAR community venture is seeking volunteers after the retirement of a much valued member.

After three years Diane Duhamel has retired from volunteering duties with the Friends of Hardie Park in Stanford-le-Hope.

During that time she has become famous for her salmon quiche, reading stories to the toddlers of SS17 on a Monday and as a finance administrator extraordinaire.

If you are interested in volunteering and have a flair for finance admin you are asked to get in touch. By offering your time and helping out it doesn't mean you have signed up forevermore.

Volunteers work their hours around their own commitments and lives.

Contact details: Hardie Park Cafe, Hardie Road, Stanford-le-Hope, Essex. SS17 0PB Phone: Café direct – 07935 868835 Email: [email protected] Twitter: www.twitter.com/LoveHardiePark Facebook: www.facebook.com/LoveHardiePark
