FUNDRAISING heroes Martin Smith and stepson Terry Garwood have completed their fundraising walk to raise cash for Great Ormond Street Children's Hospital.

The pair set out from Tilbury at 7am this morning and arrived at the world-famous hospital this evening after a 26 mile footslog that has seen them raise more than £1,000.

They were inspired to make the walk – and have been supported by other fundraising activities in Tilbury, because of the care given to son and brother, four month old Levi Smith. You can read their story here.

Anyone wishing to support the effort can do so via a Just Giving page.
