Three borough schools enjoy top ten listing in 'real' guide to achievement

THREE primary schools in Thurrock made the top ten out of 463 primary schools in Essex.
The survey was part of a national one called the Real Schools Guide, published by the Reach plc media group, which analysed data from 45 different points including Ks2 results, progress and absence rates.
Dilkes Academy in South Ockendon led the way for borough schools in Essex and was ranked 129th nationally from 14,879 schools. It was ranked fourth best in Essex, just one place above Grays' Quarry Hill Academy.
West Thurrock Academy at Schoolfield Road, Grays, was ninth in the county.
