Thurrock police action: Man arrested on suspicion of attempted murder in Aveley

A MAN has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder following a collision in Aveley last month.

The 30-year-old was detained in Church Crescent, South Ockendon, in the early hours of this morning, Monday 16 March.

He remains in custody for questioning.

It follows a collision in Purfleet Road at 1.40am on Sunday, 23 February. A man in his 50s suffered serious injuries.
