Thurrock police target off road riders

POLICE officers have highlighted a day of action in Thurrock when they targeted nuisance bike riders across the borough.

Yesterday (Monday, 7 September) they published the results of their latest endeavours under the 'Operation Caesar' campaign.

A statement said: "Officers were out again today on Operation Caesar tackling nuisance bikes causing anti social behaviour across the district.

"Results today included one suspect dealt with for possession of cannabis and one off road bike seized in Tilbury, one verbal warning issued to mini quad bike likely to be ridden on Orsett Heath in Chadwell St Mary and two section 59 warnings issued in Stanford-le-Hope."
