Thurrock Screen Culture Festival 17th-20th Oct 2024

By Alan Bright 12th Oct 2024

A PARK in the heart of Thurrock will play host to a film festival later this month.

Thurrock Screen Culture Festival will take place between Thursday, 17 and Sunday, 20 October at Grays Town Park Café.

The festival (TSCF) 2024 takes place in a cool, indie, park café, set in a well loved Victorian Park in Grays.

It is produced by local people for the enjoyment of locals, bringing together community musicians, Essex filmmakers and the Young Film Network in an international context of film screenings.

It crucially involves students from South Essex College Music, Performance and Production in developing their real life skills by participating at TSCF.

The festival takes place with support from the BFI Film Audience Network, which awards funds from the National Lottery in order to bring projects to more audiences across the UK.
