Tip team helped with emergency on site

LINFORD's recycling centre was closed for a couple of hours today (Thursday, 27 October) while a medical emergency was dealt with.

A statement from Thurrock council says: "A member of the public had a medical incident and required an ambulance. Staff at the site gave them first aid and then left them in the care of the ambulance service.

"The site closed at around 12.45pm and re-opened around two hours later."
