Tories set for comfortable wins in Thurrock constituencies

THINGS are relatively subdued at the Thurrock and South Basildon & East Thurrock election counts where early predictions are for comfortable wins for Tories Jackie Doyle-Price and Stephen Metcalfe.
There is a distinct lack of tension at the counts.
Turnout in Thurrock, where Ms Doyle-Price looks set to hold her seat for a fourth election win, is estimated at 60 per cent.
