TRIBUTES have continued to flow in for Stanford-le-Hope licensee and restaurateur Gino Renoldi who died on Friday.

Floral tributes have been laid outside his pub and restaurant, the Railway Tavern and Gino's Taverna, in the town, many with messages from local families and Gino's friends and customers.

And many heartfelt messages have been sent on social media to his family.

Gino is also remembered across the borough, where he has been described as a legend of the local music scene for his efforts to promote live bands.

The Railway Tavern was a popular venue for music and was the inspiration for other pubs.

Typical was this message from the CAMRA award-winning Traitors Gate in Grays which says: "Really sad news, RIP Gino, landlord of the Railway Tavern in Stanford-le-Hope.

"Many of the acts that play here will know him well. He has been a great supporter of the local scene for years.

"This is a great loss to the Thurrock pub trade. Our condolences to his family at this difficult time."
