Two arrested after Stanford drugs raid

TWO men have been arrested after a warrant was executed at an address in Stanford-le-Hope this morning (Thursday, 19 March).

Officers from Thurrock neighbourhood and local policing teams, and membersv of the Operator Raptor anti drugs team, entered the buildings at just after 7.30am, under Section 23 of the Misuse of Drugs Act.

One man was arrested for production of a Class B drug. A second was detained as he was the subject of an outstanding warrant in another force area.

Forty cannabis plants were discovered at the scene. They have been seized and will be destroyed.
