Two borough residents honoured

TWO Thurrock residents have been recognised in the New Year's Honours.

Jeffrey David Asser, who lives in Grays and is Assistant Director, Department for Energy Security and Net Zero has been awarded an OBE for services to the North Sea Transition.

An MBE has been awarded to Olusola Oluronke Anike Alabi, Director of the Exam Success Education Centre who lives in Purfleet,
