Two drivers hurt as horses break loose on busy road and roundabout

TWO drivers were injured amid a series if collisions caused by horses that got loose on a busy roundabout in Thurrock thus morning (Wednesday, 10 November).

Police were called to reports of horses loose at around 5.30am this morning as the animals caused significant disruption along Dock Road Approach towards Tilbury Docks and the A13 towards London. The roundabout adjacent to the ASDA store was particularly badly affected.

Police assisted with two collisions caused by the animals and helped secure the animals.

Two drivers have been taken to hospital with injuries but these are not believed to be life-threatening or life-changing.
