Two released as enquiries continue into Thurrock cannabis farm

POLICE are continuing to investigate a cannabis growing site that was discovered in Aveley.

Two people were arrested following the serving of a drugs warrant at an address in Hall Avenue, Aveley, earlier this week.

A 45 year-old woman and a 53 year-old man were arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class A drugs, cannabis cultivation, and extracting electricity.

They have since been released under investigation.
