Veteran baker has a crusty gift for Treetops

A SPECIAL loaf made by a baker at Morrisons in Grays played a big part in a Harvest Festival at Treetops School today.

The large and autumnally symbolic harvest loaf was created by John Calverley, a baker for nearly 40 years.

It was presented to Owen Jeffries and Megan Davis from Treetops School and before featuring in the celebration today (Friday, 14 October).
