A THURROCK student is celebrating publication of a book he wrote while in lockdown.

Vinnie Harper lives in in Stanford-le-Hope with his parents and three brothers.

A passionate sports enthusiast, he actively participates in his local football team, displaying his skills on the field every weekend.

But Vinnie's interests extend beyond the pitch; in his leisure time, he delves into the world of books, embraces the intellectual stimulation of math challenges, and enjoys a variety of board games and card games.

And during Covid lockdown while he was still in year four,  Vinnie decided to write a book called 'Mr Blue and the Ravaging Snake' which has a theme of anti-bulling and an understanding that when you may feel lonely there are people there to help you.

Now in his second year at secondary, Vinnie is thrilled that publishers Austin MaCauley have printed his book and it's now on sale online.

You can order it, for delivery in February, via this link.
