Volunteers are celebrated in Thurrock

Volunteers' Week over recent days in Thurrock has celebrated the amazing contributions volunteers make to the borough community.

The culmination of the week saw many individuals and groups who support those in need honoured for their service.

It took place at The Behive in Grays, home of the CVS and was sponsored by the Rotary Club of Grays Thurrock. 

Loraine Coleman and Paula Mullooly.

Among those honoured were two stalwarts of local charity Re-engage. Loraine Coleman was presented with the Coordinator Volunteer Award and Paula Mullooly was presented with the Befriender Volunteer Award.
